Uranus – the planet of difference, racism and discontentment – and Mars –the planet of energy, hate and violence – are in house 1 (the people).
Progressed Uranus has been in house 12 (secrets and self-undoing) for many years and racism is the nation’s blight.
Any progressed aspect to Mars stimulates anger and hatred and it was ‘written in the stars’ that these twin evils would one day converge into a very dangerous moment.
In January 1999 progressed ascendant moved to house 7 (war and open enmity) and in June, 1999 it moved to form an opposition aspect with birth chart Uranus.
On September 11, 2001 – with progressed ascendant opposition birth chart Uranus – planet of sudden, unexpected events – and progressed Mars – planet of violent attacks – parallel birth chart Neptune – planets of planes – the terror attack known as 9/11 occurred.
