The houses reveal how your life was set-up by previous experience. They correspond to your external environment and indicate the presence of life-matters, activities and people through which events can occur.
As your outer-world environment the houses embrace everything that is external to your astral soul-self: including your physical body and its genes, organs and hormones.
Your life is a series of events and the houses specify the event venue aka incident site where your character does its thing and not-conscious thought-cell activity works to attract events.
The prominent-active houses indicate where the action is. Their harmony or discord scores reveal your tendency towards fortune and misfortune.
Your immediate-local environment sets personal event parameters. Events can only involve the life-matters, activities, people and relationships that define your current life situation.
Your intelligence and ability develop through experience. Your local environment facilitates events and the houses in your birth chart accurately map an event potential if you do nothing to change what’s indicated.
Houses depict memory compartments
The houses, like everything depicted in your birth chart, have a correspondence with your not-conscious soul-mind or character.
Your life story is saved in memory. States of consciousness associated with experience are processed and saved in experience specific memory compartments of your astral body.
Your astral body, where your character resides, is configured in such a way that 12 distinct compartments, corresponding to the houses in your birth chart, process, assimilate and save the thoughts, feelings and impulses associated with specific events and experiences.
The planets and zodiac signs associated with a particular house reveal the types of thoughts, feelings and impulses that have assimilated in its corresponding memory compartment.
Each compartment is separated from its neighbor by astral membranes as indicated by the house cusps.
A planet by its house position reveals the type of common thought-cell activity that’s associated with a particular field of experience.
Your chart’s house power summary
Your chart’s house power summary lists the 12 houses in descending power order.
The house with the most power is listed first. It’s your dominant house. There are usually several planets located in this house.
Houses with more than 8.3% of the chart’s power have above average astrodyne power scores. They’re rated prominent.
Those with below average power are rated non-prominent and those with very low astrodyne power scores are rated weak, but any house that contains a planet should be rated active.
The astrodyne power of a house matches the relative level of common thought-cell activity associated with its department of life. When stimulated thought-cells work to attract events.
Your chart’s house power summary allows you to assess the relative importance of each department of life. By listing each house in descending power order, it allows you to see where the action is and which departments of life are going to feature in your life story.
The course your life takes is determined by events indicated by the houses in your birth chart. They map a normal life trend and what you can expect if you do nothing to change what’s indicated.

Know your dominant-prominent – keynote – houses
You need to know the planet-house associations in your birth chart. You need to know the house location of each planet.
A planet in a house makes its department of life active, but each house has an astrodyne power score so their relative importance is measured.
Your dominant house has the highest astrodyne power score. There may be two, three or four planets located in this house and one of its life-matters regularly engages your attention, influences what you do and gives you meaning and purpose. It depicts where a high concentration of common thought-cell activity is associated with a keynote life-matter, interest or social relationship.
Your prominent houses have above average astrodyne power scores and an above average potential to play a keynote role in your life story. The thought-cell activity associated with these houses is working to influence your thinking and behavior and attract major events that sustain your character development.
Each house has a net harmony or discord score
The houses in your birth chart have net harmony or not discord scores that indicate a trend towards fortunate or unfortunate events. But there’ll be discord amidst the harmony and harmony amidst the discord so the indicated trend is not absolute.
It is wrong to presume that the life-matters, activities and social relationships associated with a house with a net harmony score will travel a course that is exclusively harmonious and beneficial; and it is wrong to presume that the life-matters, activities and social relationships associated with a house with a net discord score will travel a course that is exclusively discordant and detrimental.
A net harmony score does indicate an overall fortunate influence but discord amidst the harmony can produce unfortunate events; and a net discord score does indicate an overall unfortunate influence but harmony amidst the discord can produce fortunate events
A house with a net harmony score indicates that the common thought-cell activity associated with its life-matters is more inclined to desire and attract fortunate events, beneficial conditions and pleasant social relationships. There’s a trail of happy memories.
A house with a discord score indicates that the common thought-cell activity associated with its life-matters is more inclined to desire and attract unfortunate events, detrimental conditions and unpleasant social relationships. There’s a trail of unhappy memories.
A high-discord house can indicate a department of life where there’s chronic adversity. It’s a major trouble spot. The discord marks for problems that occupy your thinking until you learn what you’re doing wrong and change your misguided behavior aka the offending thought-cell activity.
You have a best and worst house
Your best house is the one with the highest harmony score. It indicates that you were born with certain environmental advantages. The life-matters associated with this house are predisposed to play a beneficial role in your life so it’s in your best interest to regularly associate with its activities and social contacts.
You may have several harmonious houses in your chart and their relative harmony scores allow you to measure and rate their benefit potential.
Your worst house is the one with the highest discord score. It indicates that you were born with certain environmental disadvantages. The life-matters associated with this house are predisposed to play a detrimental role in your life so it’s in your best interest (if possible) to disassociate yourself from its activities and social contacts.
You may have several discordant houses in your chart and their relative discord scores allow you to measure and rate their misfortune potential.
It’s possible for your best house to have a low discord score or your worst house to have a low harmony score.
Your worst house gets a red flag. It marks for life-matters and people that can have an incredibly stressful influence on your life and high stress life events provide painful learning experiences.
If your dominant house is your best house there’s a fortunate power-harmony association which produces fortunate major events.
If your dominant house is the worst house there’s an unfortunate power-discord association which produces unfortunate major events. Discord harmonizing is required to change what’s indicated. You can change your thinking and/or your environmental circumstances.
You can view your life as an unfolding story involving events and conditions. Harmonious thought-cell activity is inclined to work in your favor and attract fortunate events. It moves in the direction of success, satisfaction and happiness.
Discordant thought-cell activity (until corrected) is inclined to attract unfortunate events. It moves in the direction of failure, dissatisfaction and unhappiness.
A harmonious house indicates your character will develop through fortunate-pleasure events and a discordant house indicates development through unfortunate-painful events and you’re destined to experience plenty of both.
Verify house data with real-life experience
From the get-go you’ve interacted with your local environment. You describe events as good and fortunate or bad and unfortunate.
Only you know if your childhood, youth and teenage years were pleasant and comfortable or unpleasant and difficult. Your life as an adult is a series of events involving life-matters, people and places. Your immediate-local environment at each stage set event parameters.
The dynamic not-conscious desire-urges that get you going had their mode of expression conditioned by environment and only you know the particular life-matters or activities that became the object of your thought-cell desires.

You’re the fact-checker who has to check the factual assertions made by your birth chart with your sometimes unreliable self-observations. Weaknesses in your data verification will be due to a poor understanding of chart data and/or yourself.
