Modern science denounces ESP and psychic phenomena

21st century materialistic science provides various purposeless theories explaining life. You’re a random genetic accident is one.

Hermetic astrology on the other hand provides a purposeful explanation. Your life is a gradual expansion of soul consciousness that’s focused on the continual development of your special type of intelligence and ability through experience.

Hermetic astrology explains that your soul is adhered to your physical body by the psychokinetic power of its thoughts and that through extrasensory perception you – the objective observer – can acquire inner-plane information and contact God.

Hermetic astrology’s teachings prove that materialistic science (and orthodox religion) teach disinformation so in 1946 when a hostile scientific community attacked ESP and astrology in order to safeguard their mechanistic theories and privileged position the stakes were high.

Few people realize that Hermetic astrology and ESP, because they prove the existence of a purposeful and intelligently run universe, are the main enemies of atheistic science.

Some scientists do have a secret interest in astrology, but they dare not tell their peers. That’s because there’s a scientific hierarchy that apparently holds certain branches of organized science in an iron grip.

A scientist who expresses a belief in astrology or ESP is denounced by a closed-minded, scientific authority and is no longer considered reputable.

Modern science falsely denounces ESP

In America on November 3, 1946, in a coast-to-coast broadcast over the Mutual Broadcasting System, various methods were explained by which rapping, table lifting, spirit voices, levitation, spirit writing and materialization can be, and no doubt often are, produced by unscrupulous so-called mediums through trickery. And the matter was summed up:

‘Modern science gives no support to the belief that we can communicate with the dead. As yet, no one has convinced a reputable committee of scientists that any proposed spirit message is genuine. Mediums who have submitted to investigation have either been exposed as charlatans, or have proved to be sincere but powerless.’

Well, Sir Oliver Lodge (1851-1940) did outstanding research in electrons, ether and lightning, and made important contributions to wireless telegraphy.

In 1900 he was chosen the first principal of the new Birmingham University, and in 1902 he was knighted. And after 1900 he became prominent in psychical research, believing strongly in the possibility of communicating with the dead.

Sir William Crookes (1832-1919) was a pioneer in the study of electric discharges in gasses. He invented the radiometer and the otheoscope and in 1861 discovered thallium in some seleniferous deposits, isolated it, studied its properties, and in 1873 determined its atomic weight.

The French Academie des Sciences bestowed a prize of 31,000 francs and a gold medal on him in recognition of his discoveries in molecular physics and radiant matter; and in 1897 he was knighted.

The Aquarian Age internet will tell you that his research into psychic phenomena began in the 1870s, when he was the first British scientist to engage in psychical research. And that his experiments with mediums Daniel Dunglas Home and Florence Cook were conducted under scientific conditions that aimed to establish the validity of psychic abilities.

In 1897, he was elected president of the Society for Psychical Research, stating in his presidential address, ‘Psychical science, as we here try to pursue it, is the embryo of something which in time may dominate the whole world of thought.’

His book ‘Researches into the Phenomena of Modern Spiritualism, published in 1874, remains a significant contribution to the understanding of psychic forces and their scientific investigation. It’s available and can be read for free on Internet Archive.

And the French astronomer Camille Flammarion (1842-1925), published many popular works on astronomy.

In 1900 he published L’Inconnu: The Unknown in which he described cases of telepathy, apparitions and other phenomena collected by means of appeals in the Annales Politiques et Littéraires in 1899, including telepathic communications from the dying, dream clairvoyance and precognition.

Some of the cases in this book, and others sourced elsewhere, formed the basis of Flammarion’s three volume work Death and its Mystery (1920-1922). He arranged the volumes as cases occurring before death, at the moment of death, and after death. They’re available on Internet Archive.

Flammarion had many sittings with mediums during his early exposure to Spiritism. In private correspondence he wrote about physical phenomena he observed with a medium named Honorine Huet, who produced spirit communications by means of table tipping and automatic writing.

Each of these three men, and a score of others who contributed markedly to the advancement of human knowledge, spent years painstakingly investigating, individually and in committees composed of other brilliant minds, psychic phenomena and became convinced human beings on Earth can, and do, sometimes communicate with the dead.

They reveal that the assertion: ‘As yet, no one has convinced a reputable committee of scientists that any proposed spirit message is genuine’ is a lie.

The Mutual Broadcasting radio program also claimed: ‘Materializations – the production of spirit matter or ectoplasm – have been accomplished by the medium swallowing yards of thin cloth and regurgitating it at the expected moment. Smoke capsules and thin rubber balloons have also been used; and materializations of complete spirits generally turn out to be the medium himself.’

Yet, Baron Von Schrenck-Notzing (1862-1929) in his book, ‘Phenomena of Materialization’ gives a critical account of his own very extensive experiments, and illustrates it with reproductions from 225 photographs of materialized forms in all their various stages of development as they exude from the medium and take human shape.

The Aquarian age internet will tell you: ‘Phenomena of Materialization: A Contribution to the Investigation of Mediumistic Teleplastics by Baron von Shrenck-Notzing is a significant contribution to the field of parapsychology.

The book details a series of séances by Shrenck-Notzing between 1909 and 1913, focusing on the French medium Eva Carriére. And his work is known for its detailed records and photographs, which were taken during the séances.

Published in 1920 the book remains a key text for researchers and enthusiasts interested in the history of spiritualism and unexplained phenomena of the human mind.’ It’s available for free on Internet Archive.

And the scientist Gustave Geley (1865-1924) made plaster casts of materialized human hands and feet.

Charles Richet (1850-1935), Professor of Physiology of the University of Paris, who took part in some of Geley’s experiments, and secretly employed his knowledge of chemistry to preclude possibility of trickery said: ‘We therefore affirm that there was a materialization and a dematerialization of an ectoplasmic or fluidic hand, and we think that this is the first time that such rigorous conditions of experiment have been imposed.’

In 1913 Charles Richet won the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine.

Because an inner-plane intelligence can produce physical phenomena only through mentally directing the electromagnetic energies of a living organism, if those present at a séance have sufficient mental power, they can effectively block such a manifestation.

They become the dominant mental directing force present. And a clever sleight-of-hand performer, if allowed to arrange their conditions, can imitate the production of phenomena.

Where prejudice exists, a little thimble-rigging can make it appear that professional legerdemain produces the same phenomena as that of a medium who uses no such stage props.

But no amount of thimble-rigging can convince hundreds of thousands of people who, without the aid of professional mediums, have had one or more experiences in their lives that could have only taken place if someone who had passed from the physical were still interested in them, and had impressed them, or given them a signal which was unmistakable.

Extrasensory perception glimpses afterlife conditions

The voluntary use of extrasensory perception presents serious problems, but innumerable people have had spontaneous experiences in which some of the afterlife conditions were revealed.

And as other information relative to mundane matters was revealed at the same time, and subsequently verified, there is every reason to believe that when the conditions were right the same faculties enabled them to perceive correct physical events that could not have been perceived through common means.

The countless reports of those who have had such experiences – some no more than a single glimpse of the activities of the next life, and some the extensive explorations of gifted seers – not only reveal that the personality survives physical death but, due allowance being given to the properties of the inner-plane due to its high velocities, human activities there are much the same as those on Earth.

People do not spend all their time listening to angels playing harps, singing hallelujah, or kneeling down before a great white throne.

Streets there are no more paved with gold than they are here. People on the inner-plane have work to do, enjoy love and friendship, and employ some of their time in recreation. And there, as here, initiative, effort, motive and ability are significant.

But the most significant fact of all is that people are not compelled to remain in the condition where at the time you find themselves.

While on Earth and in the afterlife, people have opportunities to better themselves and progress.

While on Earth some live in slums, and some live in a hell of hate and envy. But it is possible for those in the slums on Earth to move elsewhere, and it is possible for those whose mental attitude makes a hell of their lives to change that attitude and move into a more congenial atmosphere.

Likewise, in the afterlife, those who do not wish to remain where they are can move to a better environment if they will make the effort and undergo the necessary training.

There is life after physical death, where you will continue to learn and work and have pleasure and make progress, but that doesn’t mean you will lose interest in life on Earth.

You live now and it’s important to live abundantly but to ignore the fact that life continues after the physical, as the anti-God materialists are striving their utmost to get you to do, is criminal shortsightedness.

It’s criminal in that it encourages the motive to get all you can now because death is the end; and it’s shortsighted in the same way as it would be to encourage a child to ignore the requirements of adult life.

If a child were convinced by myopic associates that their parents would continue to supply their needs and pleasures throughout life, or that there would be no life after they reached the age of 21, would no doubt decide that so much time spent in education was foolish. Instead of spending arduous hours in school, they would decide they might as well spend all their time in play.

Materialistic science and its mighty propaganda machine is doing its utmost to convince you that your meaningless existence will be permanently extinguished with your last breath of life. It’s a lie.
