When the Sun enters Aries each year a new Sun cycle starts and in 2023 this occurred on March 20 at 9.26pm GMT. At this time the Sun – the chart’s keynote marker – was square Mars, planet of strife and conflict, which prompted us to forecast:
‘It’s sending a war-warning and puts the global spotlight on strife, disputes, confrontation, conflict, missiles, violence, shootings, explosions, fires and accidents. The dominant powers are on a war-footing. There’s a sense of danger, haste and urgency. Harshness, brutality and hate are widespread. A heavy police presence is inclined to use excessive force. In America’s chart the Sun was in house 7 and we forecast ‘the outstanding event-trend for America in 2023 involves disputes with foreign powers (China, Russia, North Korea, Iran), open enmity, war and its relations with partners and allies.’ The chart favored heavy foreign interference.
In Russia’s chart Mars was in house 7 and we forecast ‘Russia will be under attack from foreign powers. Mars forecasts strained international relations, major disputes, aggressive moves by enemy nations and conflict overseas that has adverse consequences on Russia and its economy.’ The chart favored warmongering.
Ukraine and Israel also had Mars in house 7.
What happened from March 20, 2023 to March 20, 2024 is now history. Mars favored conflict, strife and war dancing and Earth’s inhabitants obliged.

This is not a violent chart. The Sun is trine (luck) Moon (the common people), semisquare (friction) Jupiter (finances, prices and trade), conjunction Neptune (schemes, inflation, aviation and drugs) and sextile (opportunity) Pluto (groups, cooperation, division and organized crime).
Sun conjunction Neptune – the chart’s hotspot – scripts the outstanding event trend forecasting visionary schemes, idealism and a swing towards socialism – the political and economic system that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of property and natural resources. (It opposes Jupiter’s capitalism.)
Major events involving the corporate world, corporations, stocks, (shares), promotion, marketing, aviation, movie land, actors, oil, inflation, fraudsters, scammers and refugees will receive prominent media coverage.
Neptune rules slavery and in the 21st century slavery hasn’t been abolished; and the world is awash with Neptune’s drugs as big pharma and the illegal drug cartels and smugglers make millions/billions selling their wares.
Sun conjunction Neptune maps an opportunity for visionary world leaders to act as peacemakers and conciliate the division and discord scripted by the Moon-Pluto opposition.
Whether Neptune’s idealism and sensitivity to the misfortune of others can rehumanize the warmongers and move in the direction of resolving major conflicts remains to be seen.
That said, the only real certainty with Neptune is confusion, chaos, exaggeration and uncertainty. It does have its head in the clouds, likes to daydream and needs to get realistic.
The worst aspect in the chart is Moon opposition Pluto (the people vs. the dictators) which the Sun (world leaders and governments) conciliates. Mars is weak, but square Uranus (angry protests); and Saturn – planet of fear and loss – is parallel Mercury (education, journalists and academics) and conjunction and parallel Venus (the social set, peace makers and fashion industry.)

Saturn (safety, protective measures, caution, a cash crunch, fear, panic and loss); Venus (women and Nikki Haley?); Mars (strife, conflict, bitter feuding and angry flareups); Neptune (schemes, plots, confusion, beating around the bush, drama and uncertainty); and Uranus (disruption, dissatisfaction, abrupt changes and unexpected developments) are in house 4 forecasting a wide array of events involving the Republican party.
Saturn is conjunction and parallel Venus; Neptune conjunction Sun in house 5 has some influence on Wall Street and other house 5 mundane matters; and Mars is square Uranus (Russia) in house 7 indicating radical moves by enemies, trouble on the world stage and foreign interference in the presidential election.
On the weather front Saturn indicates heavy losses through storm and flood; Mars forecasts wild, destructive weather – heat and fire; and Neptune indicates peculiar weather – fog, sleet, snow storms and blizzards.
