April 22: In Kashmir at least 26 people are killed after gunmen (Mars) open fire on a group (Pluto) of domestic Indian tourists. An armed group called The Resistance Fron (Mars-Pluto) claims responsibility for the Pahalgam attack.
Since then there have been retaliatory measures, Indian and Pakistani troops exchanging gunfire, missile strikes by India, more civilian casualties and drone strikes as relations between the nuclear-armed neighbors deteriorate.
