Your character is built of thought-cell groups

According to Plato and Hermetic astrology your soul has many lives. It’s not known how many but on its evolutionary journey it acquires thoughts, feelings and impulses and gradually upgrades its intelligence and ability.

Experience with environment causes a state of consciousness – a feeling is felt – and thoughts and feelings are movements in astral substance which possesses the property of permanent data retention. The memory of experience, as thought and feeling data, is retained indefinitely in astral–soul–substance.

Hermetic astrology identifies each particular thought and feeling as a thought-element and from the get-go your soul’s response to an event saw the creation of thought-elements that it saved in memory.

This process of experience and thought-element creation has influenced and will continue to influence the development of your consciousness indefinitely.

Thought-elements – the fundamental building blocks of your consciousness – have vibratory rates. They’re embedded with desire – a driving force that works to attract an event similar to the one that coincided with their formation. And through the law of affinity thought-elements of a particular type congregate to form a thought-cell and then a thought-cell group.

A thought-cell group is an organized collection of thought elements – thoughts, feelings and impulses – that have common properties.

So, as a result of your impersonal pre-human living and learning there are groups of thought-cells in your soul that express fundamental desires that define your character aka special type of human nature.

They’re the primary causal agents of the events you experience and the life you live. They shape and are shaped by circumstance and work independently of you – the individual – to attract events and conditions that replicate how they feel and what they desire.

These thought-cell groups that comprise your soul or character have their astrological markers and the planets in your birth chart allow you to assess their vibratory rates and the events they’re naturally inclined to attract.

Thought-cell groups

Your intellectual thought-cell group is embedded with thoughts and feelings identified as intellectual. They have the same vibratory rate as Mercury and Mercury in your chart allows you to assess their strength, scope of influence and functional status. They work to attract events of the Mercury type.

Your aggressive thought-cell group is embedded with thoughts and feelings identified as aggressive. They have the same vibratory rate as Mars and Mars in your chart allows you assess their strength, scope of influence and function status. They work to attract events of the Mars type.

Your religious thought-cell group is embedded with thoughts and feelings identified as religious. They have the same vibratory rate as Jupiter and Jupiter in your birth chart allows you to assess their strength, scope of influence and functional status. They work to attract events of the Jupiter type.

And your individualistic thought-cell group is embedded with thoughts and feelings identified as individualistic. They have the same vibratory rate as Uranus and Uranus in your chart allows you to assess their strength, scope of influence and functional status. They work to attract events of the Uranus type.

A thought-cell group’s level of activity measures its capacity to influence your life and behavior. Some are very active and vibrant – others are less active.

Some express thoughts, feelings and impulses that are suitably proper and constructive and others express thoughts and feelings that are misguided and improper. And they’re all embedded with unfulfilled desire that’s demanding satisfaction.

Your soul nurtures 10 dynamic thought-cell groups, but only certain thought-cells within a group and only certain thought-cell groups are active at any one time.

Environmental circumstance determines which thought-cells are turned on and when a particular thought-cell group is turned on all the others are turned off. The focus of your attention specifies the thought-cell connection.

So, as events occur your attention connects you to the thought-cell group that’s in charge of dealing with the situation.

The most active thought-cell groups regularly influence your thinking and conduct. Previous experience gives them a job description and they perform a type of work that concurs with their evolutionary roots.

And each thought-cell group in your soul possesses psychokinetic power. So, they’re able to move physical objects, or otherwise affect the physical conditions in your environment in order to attract events that reflect how they feel.

Those embedded with harmonious feel-good feelings work to attract fortunate events and conditions that are pleasing and to your liking. And those embedded with discordant feel-bad feelings work to attract unfortunate events and conditions that are displeasing and distressful.

But thought-cell activity is not fixed. It’s fluid and can be changed.

Your conscious thoughts and reason have very little power so it’s your not-conscious thought-cell activity, through the law of affinity, that writes your life story.

Take home messages

Astral–soul–substance is endowed with the property of mandatory data retention and the events and conditions your soul encountered on its life journey produced feelings and sensations that it retained in memory.

Thought-cell formation took place and the thought and feeling data – the state of consciousness – that’s embedded in a thought-cell expresses a desire for a particular type of experience.

With a little help from your local environment, which includes your physical body, thought-cell groups work to attract events and conditions that sustain the development of your character and special type of intelligence and ability.
