If you’re a student of politics 2024 had a lot to teach you. It was the biggest election year in history with over 70 scheduled to occur.
Some reported voting irregularities, some were questioned for their lack of transparency, and some were totally undemocratic. Countries moved to the left or right and democracy was under threat in some due to naïve, low-info voters and apathetic citizens.
In India Mahendra Modi stifled the opposition; in the UK the Labor Party swept to power; in France Emmanual Macron single-handedly caused a political crisis; and in America Donald Trump returned to the White House.
In the Sun section of the Aquarian Age politics is the main game and it’s been turned into a confrontational, ruthless grab for power by Lower-Pluto. To achieve their goals self-serving politicians suppress facts, create division and spread disinformation.
In the age of Lower-Pluto very little light penetrates the shadowy darkness.
Disinformation is a key component of Aquarian Age politics

People form opinions based on the facts they possess or the fallacies in which they believe. Therefore, any authority or clever group which can censor some facts and twist others to appear as they desire, can shape public opinion in any chosen direction. And public opinion not only elects presidents and legislatures in democratic countries it keeps dictators and autocrats in power too.
In 2024 disinformation is the deliberate and purposeful distribution of false information. The term is generally used to describe an organized campaign to deceptively distribute untrue material intended to influence public opinion and in 2024 social media exacerbated the impact of disinformation campaigns.
In 2024 the Aquarian Age internet facilitated the voluminous and free dissemination of disinformation. It was spread by both human and artificial intelligence and it’s Lower-Pluto’s chief weapon as it campaigns to erode democracy and turn countries autocratic.
Lower-Pluto is the master at creating false narratives. It’s the expert at coordinating systematic and organized efforts to shape public opinion in many areas, from public health and climate change to race relations. And in 2024 the amount of disinformation available is vast. Russia is the world’s disinformation champion.
Aquarian Age democracy
Democracy is government by the people. It’s a form of government in which the people elect representatives to make decisions, policies, laws, etc.
The hallmark of democracy is that it permits citizens to participate in making laws and public policies by regularly choosing their leaders and by voting in assemblies or referenda.
Studies suggest that democracy, broadly speaking, was practiced within tribes of hunter-gatherers in prehistoric times; and thousands of years later, in the 6th century BCE, a relatively democratic form of government was introduced in the city-state of Athens by Cleisthenes.
But in 2024 it’s generally considered that government by the people, the best political option for the Age of Aquarius, is on very shaky ground.
Democracy implies no central autocratic authority which makes overall plans as to how objectives may most effectively be achieved and has the power to force individuals and groups to follow the activities called for by these plans.
It signifies individual liberty and the privilege of engaging in the work or business of your own choice; and the privilege of people to form into groups which work for the special interests of the group.
These groups can be motivated by Pluto’s higher good, but in 2024 many work almost exclusively for their own self-interest and advantage with little regard for the effect upon other groups or the nation. Many subsidize press publicity and vigorously maintain political lobbies in the effort to gain the advantages they desire. Other groups work just as energetically to thwart these efforts and instead gain advantages for themselves.
Labor unions struggle continually for full employment and to raise wages while organized business seeks a condition where enough people are unemployed so that they can always hire help and force wages down.
Those on the public payroll work for taxes, so that money may be available to them to retain their jobs; while the general public works to have taxes, which they must pay, lowered. And states within a nation strive to grab as great a share as possible of the available tax money. They compete greedily for government appropriations which will benefit themselves at the expense of tax payers.
In 2024 groups all too often ignore the public’s welfare and exert political pressure to get legislation passed that benefits themselves at the expense of the nation. They enter that class of individuals identified as special privilege and the unfair advantages they gain hamper effective production and distribution which alone will ensure freedom from want.
Competition (Mars) pervades all nature and becomes a valuable motive for human conduct, but in 2024 ferocious competition is having destructive consequences. It inevitably leads to loss and war.
In the Age of Aquarius humanity is moving towards the cooperative society so the only remedy for the loss and suffering inflicted by destructive competition is organized cooperation. Competition must be toward contributing more to the welfare of society rather than accumulating wealth and power for self.
Such organized cooperation cannot be compelled by the government under democracy. It can only be attained by the voluntary action of people and groups when they become aware that the welfare of all resulting from organized cooperation in which they take an active part gives a higher sense of satisfaction than does destroying or suppressing competition.
Like everyone we rely on the observations of expert world watchers to provide us with glimpses of what’s going on here on Earth and the picture they paint is brush stroked with discordant astrological energies and adverse political-social trends.
In 2024 politics was all about hating the other side and democracy suffered.
In 2025 like-minded countries that care about the rules based international order and advocate democratic values must cooperate for the higher-good and aggressively oppose the push in some so-called democracies towards autocracy, nationalistic self-interest and isolationism.
