Ten thousand years from now scientists digging in the ruins of the present civilization will likely speculate about the types of people who inhabited these ancient lands. They’ll search for written records and try to decipher strange languages in order to understand the thoughts, religions and governments of those ancient races.
Civilizations evolve and decline. Mountain ranges thrust up and then through the slow process of erosion become level plains. Continents rise and sink below the waves.
The evolutionary life processes of Earth and its inhabitants advance through the ages, as God’s Great Plan of Progression unfolds in ageless eternity.
Periodic destruction of large portions of civilization by fire (extreme volcanic action) and by water (floods) occur time and time again. Life forms appear and vanish as the great process of evolution continues. The new continuously arises to displace the old.
Established governments flourish for a time and then change to meet new conditions imposed by evolutionary environment, or die as outmoded forms if successful adaptation is not accomplished.
Religions appear, live for a time and vanish through degeneration. They become so modified that their originators would never recognize them, finally vanishing from view in the great structural changes imposed upon Earth by the Great Plan of Eternal Progression.
People are prone to view these vast changes as terrible tragedies, because so many of a particular kind of life are eradicated from the Earth. Their common visual scope is limited by a self-centered viewpoint, which prevents the comprehension of the methods used by eternal God to ensure that the course of evolution proceeds exactly according to plan.
You experience earthly schooling to develop intelligence and understanding. Sufficient development enables you to begin to fulfill a destiny for which you were called into being.
Society establishes governments, religions, social patterns, moral codes etc., endeavoring to satisfy its inherent basic urges.
The hereditary drive for significance or power urge (the Sun in astrology) serves an evolutionary purpose of keeping life forms struggling for importance.
When this urge is perverted as rule or ruin, the desire to dictate is inherent in the spiritually unenlightened soul.
Perverted power urges have moved religious leaders to forbid the study of physics, and the relief of pain. They ruled that those who disobeyed would be jailed, tortured and slain – all in the name of a merciful God.
The desire to dictate has caused scientists to try to suppress psychic investigation, and to ridicule, without study, astrology. They attempt to promote the false idea that every existing thing can be explained by an examination of the purely physical.
This desire to dictate led in its extreme to the dialectical materialism of Communism and is, to this day, aided and abetted by blind materialists.
They’re so self-hypnotized by their false sense of importance that the only thing real to them is what they can weigh and measure on already existing devices.
And there are some religious leaders who try to promulgate the idea that nothing can be good or true that does not originate in their particular creed.
They appear to believe that honest investigation of inner-plane facts of the human soul or outer-plane facts of astrology and its esoteric significance is certainly to be condemned to eternal hell fire.
If you question these pundits – steering clear of mental associations which cause biased emotional reactions – as to whether they believe in freedom of religion and freedom of thought and expression, they will most stoutly affirm they do.
It’s because these would-be dictators can no longer do away with the opposition by jailing, torturing and slaying, that they resort to taking legislative steps, no matter how perverted they may be, to try to destroy the freedoms of those with opposing views.
You don’t need to speculate as to what happened to freedom of religion and freedom of expression under tyrants and dictators or the religious leaders of the various Inquisitions. That is history.
And democracy aka representative government must allow the greatest freedom of worship and freedom of expression; and any person or group of persons who labor to destroy for others the freedoms they claim for self, are actually trying to undermine the institution of freedom and establish a dictatorship through forcing conformity to their narrow opinions.
The Great God has a plan
To assist God’s Great Plan of progressive evolution, it is necessary to understand something of the realities of life and evolution and to realize that the Great God has a Plan that is being and will be fulfilled.
But an iron curtain of fear, that impedes investigation and makes people afraid to recognize facts which are essential to their present and future wellbeing, has been erected by orthodoxy. And for people to live to their best advantage this curtain of orthodoxy must be lifted.
You can start to learn to walk in the light by accepting full responsibility for your own thoughts, feelings and actions – your individual burden.
By refusing to face the facts of life your soul, rather than enjoying the freedom that can only result from a freewill acceptance of responsibility and its freewill uniting to God’s Great Plan, remains a slave to error.
Individual changes come about when habit systems of reaction to the forces (including those astrological) of environment are changed.
The greater your level of self-centeredness the more painful experiences are attracted.
The greater your degree of spiritual understanding the more happiness you will find in life.
Natural upheavals effectively destroy areas of existing civilizations, bringing great changes and a complete new set of environmental conditions. As a consequence, the remaining life must devise ways and means of survival.
Tragic as this may seem, when viewed from a limited physical viewpoint, it is absolutely essential in order that workers of specific types in the divine plan can be evolved.
Never forget that the idea of an All-wise God carries with it the idea of a smooth-working plan of evolution: A plan without mistakes and errors.
Remember that little Earth in relation to our own galaxy is so very small in size that it is not one part in ten thousand quintillion, quintillion.
It is so tiny in relation to the entirety of the manifest universe that its relative smallness can’t be imagined. And everything – the galaxies, our little Earth, the vastness of the universe – is part of the one plan of the One Eternal God.
You must also realize that at any given time you can understand and engage in your Cosmic Work.
Your infant mind won’t be able to comprehend the plan in its entirety, nor can you realize its scope in terms of physical dimension. However, the Infinite Intelligence has endowed you with the ways and means of determining what to do and how to do it, in order to cooperate in the fulfillment of the divine plan as an intelligent worker.
You have also inherited the freewill choice of determining whether or not you are going to perceive and follow your destined course with a minimum of pain or a maximum of unnecessary travail.
You are not given a choice as to what you were created for, any more than the Earth is given a choice as to the time when surface changes must take place.
The Ordinance of Heaven has a time limit on everything that is, ever was and ever will be. In your case, pressures build up until you are somewhat forced – as a measure of self-protection – to look to the light to learn that the old way was the way of error.
Brainwashing
The brainwashing tactics used by dictators to convert people to Communism or fascism are no different in any great degree from the brainwashing tactics used by religious inquisitors in historic time.
And they don’t differ greatly from those employed by some academic dictators who try to convey to students the idea of materialism, and who try to establish a set of prejudices against astrology or anything else, that only reveals the extremely limited nature of their knowledge in regard to the particular subject in which they are supposed to be an authority.
The student who disagrees too much, with some preconceived concept in class, is labelled a trouble maker; just like the analytical thinker who offends some religious leader’s drive for significance by daring to question the wisdom and accuracy of some religious tenet.
Of course, such an attitude is the antithesis of a belief in genuine freedom of worship. It attempts to suppress and distort the facts of life – therefore, subversive in the truest sense.
A person who has succumbed to religious brainwashing is a slave to the ideas and errors of the person or group advocating and conducting the washing; and to become free, in the truest sense, they must gain an understanding of what has happened to them and be determined to be a free soul.
To do this they must gain an understanding of their true relation to the infinite by not allowing a prejudiced mind who knows nothing about astrology or the soul to do their thinking for them.
In any case, the controls must be thrown off; the mind and emotions must be cleared for a new source of thought, feeling and action that ensures captaincy of the soul and mastership of the fate.
But the perverted drive for significance with the attendant desire to dictate is so very common that the person who believes in complete freedom of worship and complete freedom of expression is rather rare percentage wise.
Beliefs to hold and believe
All people believe (so they say) in such freedoms, but observation indicates such belief is limited to self, or the group with which self is associated.
Too many believe in suppression of viewpoints opposed to their own, especially in matters of religion.
If you are intellectually honest with yourself, you must believe the following:
Believe in freedom for all and in the right of all people in any country to have access to as much accurate information on life – both here and hereafter – as they desire to get at any time.
Believe that all people have the God-given right to expand their consciousnesses as fast and as far as they desire.
Believe that no person, organization or group has the right to brainwash anyone or to determine for anyone what their relationship is or should be to all other life forms and God.
Believe in the right of any person or group to be as intellectually blind and as spiritually stupid as they wish; but you can’t believe that such persons or groups have the right to force their errors upon anyone else through dictative methods and brainwashing tactics.
As a free soul you have a right to demand that all people likewise have the right to be a free soul if they so desire; and that all people have the right to be slaves until such time as they awaken to the glorious realities of life with its multitude of privileges and blessings and the incomparably beautiful vista of eternal progression.
Mountains rise and erode away. Continents appear and sink. Civilizations are established and perish. Even planets die and return to disorganized dust.
Your soul, however, as part and parcel of eternal life goes on through progressed evolution to attain higher and higher states of being eventually becoming an enlightened soul working in self-conscious oneness with Eternal God.
