This could be interpreted as meaning a beneficial long-range project by which the people of a nation, world or universe are stimulated into their highest endeavor. Neither forced in compliance with an ideology by a powerful- minority, nor led by the glamor of a name.
The vision referred to originated in spirit and can be sensed throughout all nature. It is a cosmic design, the Great Plan of God. The processes of evolution in the natural world supply the key to its understanding.
It is not the static realization of a religious dream, nor the satisfied attainment of a material conception, but an infinite progression of the composite soul of the universe continually unfolding into new vistas of revelation.
It is you, the individual, developing your spiritual, mental and physical qualities to the utmost as you climb seeing the landscape of your life more clearly as your consciousness expands and rises.
The richness of your life in qualities of integrity, truth and wisdom is not just an isolated mastership, but a means to be used in the elevation of the world to more constructive purposes through harmony, cooperation and love.
Yet when you view the world through the lens of the teaming masses and see the confusion of crossed objectives and hear the babel of tongues you’re left feeling dispempowered and wondering how can I contribute to clarifying these challenging issues?
The influence of Jupiter and Saturn is pronouned as nations are in various states of prosperity or poverty and people are forever active in their pursuit of material benefits. And the influence of Mars is pronounced in the incessant quarrelling about land, materials, money or human rights. At the least provocation nations and people are fighting each other for these possessions.
War is futile. It does not solve the problems involved but rather complicates them by the aftermath of poverty and devastation. War stirs up mass emotions which have unlooked for repercussions. It destroys the good – decency and behavior that conforms to accepted standards of morality or respectability – of the nations, leaving the old and unfit to carry on the more difficult future. The gain in invention dues not compensate for the many losses in other directions.
There is a far better way of settling disputes than by wholesale destruction. It’s known as cooperation and it’s proposed by the cosmic alchemist when it comes to the abolition of war. It provides nations with a means to see beyond the boundaries of national selfishness.
The world outlook is not very inspiring when we see so many people in want. Poverty is no longer necessary. The past decades have shown conclusively that necessities can be produced in abundance. New discoveries in the chemical realm, innumerable invention in the mechanical and electrical fields have given a marvelous freedom from the drudgery of labor. And advances in technology have contributed to our health and wellbeing. Yet not all participate.
The current economic system leaves millions poor and destitute of the essentials for adequate living. Food distribution must be made more equable and participation in production made possible to all who are able and willing to assist. The removal of poverty is of vital interest to the cosmic alchemist.
The political theater needs scanning. The various forces of government call for investigation and study. Are you sure about the kind of person who makes a good politician? Is lobbying a necessity? How much government control of business is beneficial? What is the eventual outcome of a dictatorship? Voters have much to think about. But the cosmic alchemist is bound by a whole vision to consider political measures that give assurance of remunerative employment for all who will work, increase productivity and the widest practical distribution of wealth.
