The cells of your body are miniature batteries that generate electric impulses. These become nerve currents that set up an electromagnetic field. So, associated with your physical body is an electromagnetic body made up of positive-electrical and negative-magnetic energies. It’s commonly known as your aura.
Men in general are electric and women in general are magnetic; and because they’re magnetic women attract men, just like a magnet attracts iron filings.
That said, the personal magnetism of individuals may be broadly classed into two polarities: electric and magnetic.
When the electromagnetic vibratory rates are about equally divided between positive and negative the temperament is said to be electromagnetic; and most people are a mix of electric and magnetic forces.
But there are extremes. Some men and some women can be exclusively electric. And some can be exclusively magnetic.
People of the same electromagnetic temperament blend well and feel comfortable in each other’s company but when there is no blending aka compatibility there’s a feeling of discomfort and irritation.
When the magnetisms of two people have elements in common they readily fuse.
Assess your personal magnetism
The ten planets, ascendant and Midheaven, in your birth chart are located in zodiac signs.
The fire and air signs – Aries, Leo Sagittarius and Gemini, Libra and Aquarius – are positive and electric.
The earth and water signs – Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn and Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces – are negative and magnetic.
The positive signs give the electromagnetic energies of your body a positive, electric quality. The negative signs give the electromagnetic energies a negative magnetic quality.
Count the number of planets in electric signs and the number in magnetic signs.
If there are 6 planets in fire and air signs and 6 planets in water and earth signs your electromagnetic. A 5-7, 4-8, 3-9 combination one way or the other also makes you electromagnetic.
But a 2-10, 1-11 combination one way or the other makes you either electric or magnetic and a 0-12 combination makes you exclusively electric or magnetic.
So, after making this assessment you will know if you are electric, magnetic or electromagnetic.
Electric personal magnetism blends well with electric personal magnetism and magnetic personal magnetism blends with magnetic personal magnetism. But electric personal magnetism will not blend with magnetic personal magnetism. They irritate and recoil from each other and close association is harmful to both.
The quality of your personal magnetism plays an important role in your compatibilities with other people and your normal everyday electromagnetic energies tend to fuse harmoniously without particular adjustment on your part as you go about your daily life.
However, it’s a more serious consideration when matchmaking and choosing a compatible partner. Constant close contact with another person puts the focus on the quality of the thought cells in your astral body mapped by Sun, Moon and ascendant as indicated by their sign locations in your birth chart and theirs.
In marriage or other close partnership relationship it is favorable for you and the other party to have much in common, as shown by the sign locations of the Sun, Moon and ascendant in both birth charts being compatible and there not being too much of a contradictory quality.
When irritations arise, due to the thoughts and feelings of both parties temporarily tuning in on different rates, it may be impossible for your electromagnetic energies to blend harmoniously with theirs. But as soon as the difficulty has past and you and the other person establish your normal mental attitudes you will again establish a harmonious blend of electromagnetic energies.
