2020 kick-started what was intended to be a transformative decade for global development. It hasn’t happened and economic growth in 2024 was slow. China in particular has multiple economic problems.

New Saturn and Neptune cycles start in 2026
On March 26, 2026 a new Saturn cycle starts at 9.26pm GMT > Saturn is conjunction Sun (world leaders) and Neptune (utopian schemes, inflation, aviation and oil) in the chart > end date is May 5, 2040.
On April 24, 2026 a new Neptune cycle starts at 4.41am GMT > end date is February 26, 2o27. It’s a short 370-day cycle because Neptune turns retrograde on July 7, 2026 and Neptune is conjunction Saturn.
Short astrological cycles change the world
From April 9, 2011 to January 28, 2012 a short Uranus cycle changed the world. For 295 days it stimulated social unrest as people demanding freedom, democracy and human-rights liberated themselves from political and economic tyranny.
And from May 25, 2022 to January 13, 2023 a short Jupiter cycle changed the world.
It commenced at a time of serious economic distress: The war in Ukraine; harsh sanctions; energy embargos; new covid variants; covid outbreaks; rising food prices; rapidly rising inflation; global warming and changing weather patterns were all contributing to global financial uncertainty. And for 233 days the cycle caused high inflation, rising prices and a cost-of-living crisis which governments were unable to contain or manage.
And from April 24, 2026 to February 26, 2027 a short Neptune cycle will change the world too.
