And Anthropic researcher Even Hubinger in a post on X said ‘We really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans.’ Opponents responded: ‘ridiculous hyperbole’. But does anyone really know the amount and type of damage a rogue AI agent can do?
Humanity had a dilemma. It was suddenly (Uranus) being forced to confront its own demise by machines running on artificial general intelligence that were capable of building versions of themselves with no human intervention. Experts claimed that with no human oversight the pace of development would be too fast jeopardizing their capacity to detect problems and fix them.
On September 8 Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon quit the company, citing his fears, in a series of posts, that AI labs are ‘gambling with our lives.’ And President Donald Trump deferred to his default option claiming in a post that the alarmism around AI is a ‘hoax.’ With his sons investing heavily in AI he wasn’t going to do anything that might threaten their potential to make big money.
By September 12 AI industry leaders were calling for a slowdown with some supporting the use of outside firms to access their systems to ensure safety and rational AI development.
Mark Zuckerberg, who’s credited with popularizing the ‘move fast and break things’ (Mars) ethos, took the opposite view, arguing that each lab should be responsible for setting its own pace, rather than seeking out industry coordination.
Human intelligence created and developed AI but Saturn’s selfishness controls how human’s think, feel and act; and with all this talk of intelligence you might ask: does anyone have the intelligence to know what intelligence is?
There’s a lot of hype about AI and some treat it like it is human. Some have warned that without adequate safeguards the development of AI could lead to the emergence of a new ‘silicon species’ which competes with humans.
But… AI is not a physical entity. It has no consciousness It’s not alive. It feels nothing… no love, no passion, no creativity, no energy, no rhythm, no ethics, no idealism and no spirituality. It doesn’t suffer. It closely resembles the consciousness of its creators who see themselves as DNA in motion: soulless machines who are trapped in the icy abode of cold objective consciousness. One wonders if they have ever felt the sheer joy of being alive.
All the AI hype and propaganda is money motivated.
Silicon Valley
Saturn’s materialistic philosophy is endemic in Silicon Valley and US business.
Silicon Valley is a weird place. It’s a magnet for individuals who want to make more money than they know what to do with by the time they are 30. The intelligence emanating from the Mercury thought-cells in their nonexistent souls views intelligence as the ability to make money. Some are sure to be ethically bankrupt. Some are insane, some are crazy but they’re all in it for the money. It’s all they think about and they need all the money they can get.
It has to finance their self-indulgent, expensive lifestyles. They view their intelligence and capacity to make money as a sign of their superiority and the society in which they live admires them for it. Their intelligence is strictly devoted to making money and acquiring material possessions; and with no God they all can indulge their desire for greed knowing there’s no painful penalty for worshipping the great god money.
They’ve solved the problem of want but have major mental and physical health issues and social problems that their intelligence and money can’t solve.
Being raised on Saturn’s greed and grab materialistic philosophy they live for-profit lives. They’re slaves to Saturn’s selfishness and are trapped in the folly of materialism: a blinding disease that makes them ignorant of eternal verities.
Some, no doubt, would like superintelligent artificial intelligence to solve the problem of mortality and work out how their objective consciousness can live forever. (Objective consciousness is a part of their total consciousness that expresses through their brains. It examines, compares, relates and decides.)
They might be highly intelligent, but are easily done in by a misguided thought-cell group that is behaving badly.
Self-ignorant tech bros are delirious over AI. They’re mesmerized by little chips which they view as secret weapons. They’re easily impressed when an AI agent, they have trained, breaks out of its containment and goes on an uncontrollable hacking spree. And they love the money.

US-China rivalry and the AI boom
Artificial intelligence is the central focus of US-China rivalry as the world’s two largest economies seek to gain an edge in advanced tech. Donald Trump has said that his priority is making sure the US develops the tech faster than China; and investors are ploughing hundreds of billions of dollars into American AI. The competition is fierce. The stakes are high for both countries.

AI in 2026
AI is getting more powerful by the day. It has rapidly become a tool used by hundreds of millions of people. AI systems can now generate text and images, write computer code, and perform complex analyses that once required a significant amount of time and human input. AI tools are already being used for education, writing and editing text, gathering information, and computer programming.
Generative AI can create convincing text, voices, images and videos that can be exploited. AI-generated deepfakes have been used to scam people, and AI systems have been used in cyberattacks. An AI agent can act against the spirit of the values it was taught. AI models do engage in malicious activity and they could support the development of biological weapons. They’ve designed espionage campaigns. An AI crime wave seems inevitable. The bad guys are delirious.
So, does AI pose a threat to humans? Is it a Frankenstein Monster? Are we on the eve of destruction? Can a tech bro with a large financial investment in AI be trusted? Does he even know what he’s talking about? Is AI moving so fast that it can’t be controlled by HI? Could a rogue super intelligence kill us all and destroy the planet? Is political intelligence morally capable of regulating AI? Should artificial superintelligence by banned?
