You might ask: Why do we have religion? And it’s because Jupiter in the sky proclaims it.
According to NASA Jupiter, the oldest planet, formed from the dust and gases left over from the Sun’s formation 4.6 billion years ago so it’s been transmitting its benevolent-religious broadcast to the universe for a mighty long time.
Neanderthals, our closest ancient human relative, tuned in 430,000 years. They had rather complex religious ideas and practiced certain religious observances. They buried their dead with outfits indicating a belief in an after-life not dissimilar to the one they lived.
Cro-Magnons were early modern humans who lived in Europe 56,000 years ago and paintings of animals found on the walls and ceilings of ancient caves in 1868 are believed to have religious significance. Carvings on bone and ivory and elaborate burial practices confirm their religion was quite complex.
In the recent past religious messages were taught by spiritually enlightened souls. Zoroaster some 3,500 years ago had a vision of one supreme God. A thousand years later, Zoroastrianism, was the official faith of the mighty Persian Empire. Then came Mohammed, Jesus and Buddha.
In January 1881 the Age of Aquarius dawned heralding a pronounced change in religious views and beliefs; and in 2025 there’s a diverse array.
Atheism believes in no god or gods. Monotheism believes in One Supreme God. Polytheism believes in many gods. Pantheism believes in an all-pervading Universal Energy Force. Deism believes that God created everything and then left it alone. Entheism believes the universe is God. And existentialism believes in the existence of matter before essence.
During the 20th century Aquarian Age technology enabled amazing genetic and other discoveries. Mere mortals delirious with scientific knowledge undermined old age religion and dethroned God; and while Pope John Paul claimed ‘Science has the brain, religion has the mind’, science countered: the mind is created by genes!
And Aquarian Age individualism balked at organized religion. Individualistic – independent – thinkers rejected its beliefs. Their intelligence was limited but they wanted to assess facts for themselves and not be human echo chambers parroting what they were told to believe by others.
By 2015 many people had lost trust in the Church and according to Pew research, 13 percent of Americans self-identified as ‘former Catholics’.
Christianity fell on hard times due to sex abuse scandals, a campaign waged by militant atheists and the continued rise of science.
Conversations started: God doesn’t exist; the Church is a burden on society; and Christianity is an affront to reason. For many people religion simply became irrelevant and materialists said good riddance. For them it was time to abandon the past and enjoy the benefits provided by a superior way of thinking aka science.
Those who didn’t have a religious affiliation identified as ‘nones’, not religious, agnostic or atheist. For them religion had lost its halo. They simply didn’t care about religion and their children grew up with no real religious attachment.
The Church continued to restrict and curtail, impose and dictate. In the age of liberal social attitudes, its ancient moral teachings were increasingly questioned and derided and its vague and mystical vision of Heaven seemed farcical.
And atheistic materialism provided facts that restrict and limit physical life to the material plane. It didn’t make moral judgments and accepted selfishness, brutality and ruthlessness as natural; and scientific knowledge with no morals produced indifference, narcissism and spiritual disintegration.
In 2025 the faith-based Aquarian age congregation blindly swallows misguided Piscean age religious beliefs. It’s chained to the rock of ideological conformity and unable to break the chains.
And the knowledge-based atheistic congregation blindly swallows the illusions provided by technology. It’s misinformed by information that’s inaccurate or incomplete and easily fooled by the misguided opinions of others.
When you play follow the leader you’re fitting in with your social peers and endorsing the popular accepted opinion. You’re not thinking independently and resisting the force exerted by your peers and colleagues.
In 2025 thinking people wanting religious facts have old-age religious beliefs to ponder.
Jupiter’s faith religions in 2025
A person’s religious beliefs including what they consider right and wrong are chiefly determined by their religious culture and local environment and in 2025 billions of people practice moral teachings documented in ancient Holy books.
Millions (maybe billions) of uncritical thinkers are guided by belief and superstition. Their conditioning by environment predisposes them to blindly accept the voice of religious authority aka the Piscean age Bible. Terrified of the future they cling to beliefs and notions that mess up their minds and stifle their God given potential as a human soul.
In 2025 religion is seen as a theory of the world, a community, a social identity, a means of finding peace and purpose, and a weekly routine. It’s seen as a belief or philosophy which often involves the worship of a god.
According to 2014 data there are 4,200 different brands of faith in the world and those with the most followers – Christianity, Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism – have sophisticated marketing machines disseminating old-world teachings via the Aquarian age internet.
There’s strength in numbers but a weakness of truth.
Christianity and Catholicism teach the old anthropomorphic conception of God. They attribute the human form and personality to God: A God who has human frailties, who can be persuaded, cajoled or bribed, who punishes those who don’t strictly follow religious doctrine and grants unjust favors to those who praise and pray.
Christianity is a religion of redemption: through faith humanity can be redeemed. Islam teaches that humans should submit to God’s will: this will result in rewards in the after-life. It’s the world’s fastest growing religion.
Hinduism is a diverse religion. It centers on the notion of reincarnation and the caste system. Buddhism is a religion/philosophy: people can only reach enlightenment through their own efforts. Confucianism is a religion based on ethics and morals: humanity should live a virtuous life. And Taoism encourages the cultivation of non-action: people should lose their desires.
Jupiter and the religion of money
In the Age of Aquarius religion is big business. The Church is a shrewd capitalist. It’s great at making, not earning, money.
In 2025 the world’s religions speak the language of money. The new gods are money and online shopping. A million dollars is worth peanuts and possession worship is very popular.
The Bible doesn’t say that being rich prevents entry into Heaven and in 2025 millions of devotees pay homage to the great god wealth.
Worshippers sit watching computer screens gazing at money movements: the dollar, yen, mark and pound and stock prices go up and down.
In 2025 the future is viewed as a financial investment. Wealth rather than your religious beliefs influence where you’ll be tomorrow.
In 2025 money is the yardstick of success, social prestige and recognition and to protect their wealth people strive for power and authority. Christmas is a spending jamboree when people buy luxury items and designer labels.
‘Beautiful credit! The foundation of modern society.’ Mark Twain.
Jupiter’s prosperity (wealth and health) gospel
The religion of prosperity teaches you’re here to make money and that faith expressing through positive thoughts, positive declarations, and donations to the church can make you healthy, wealthy and happy.
It teaches that salvation through Jesus includes liberation from death, eternal damnation, poverty, sickness and other ills.
Adherents believe that God wants them to be richly blessed in this life and that physical wellbeing and material riches are God’s will for the faithful.
Prosperity gospel has been a significant influence in Christianity since the early 20th century and has continued to grow in the 21st. New Thought concepts were adapted to Christian theology and evolved as the teachings of prosperity gospel. The ills and misfortunes of life were seen as matters of incorrect thinking.
In 2025 the religious landscape is diverse and extreme.
While evangelical Christians await the blissful ascension extremist Islam practices religious inspired terrorism and coercive control.
Religious inspired terrorism
The Taliband is a group of Lower-Pluto thugs who give fanatical and brutal translations to Islamic holy scriptures. In Afghanistan it uses threats, intimidation and coercion to enforce its beliefs on the populace.
It resents western culture, is anti-modernism and suffers a psychic conflict between past (Pisces) and present (Aquarian) values.
The Taliband perverts Islam into a religion that glorifies killing. Its conservative (Saturn) translations of the Koran eliminate the fun, music and joy (Venus) from people’s lives. Lower-Pluto found fertile soil for its diabolical deeds in the mind of Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda terrorist network.
Religion in 2025
In 2025 the pronounced change in religious attitude forecast by Aquarius has been widespread and juvenile. People are not believing wisely.
Antiquated, psychologically destructive Piscean Age religious ghosts are haunting Aquarius. Mystical eastern religions have a wide and growing appeal.
In 2025 religion exerts a powerful moral force although the promise of eternal damnation in hell has lost its capacity to enforce goodness; and those having faith in technology are often slaves to their gadgets and devices.
In 2025 the world’s established religions struggle to adapt to the new high-frequency Aquarian Age knowledge vibration.
The Christian Church continues to cling to a soul that survives death, even though orthodox science can prove that no such life force exists, or is needed.
And Bible scholars and interested academics with limited intelligence spend their time attempting to penetrate the mind of God. You can only wonder if artificial intelligence can do it.
The old Piscean Age sky god is in need of a scientific makeover.
Yet, with all their faults, the old religions preach the goodness that is God. So, without them we have nothing.
It’s likely the old Piscean Age religions will continue to exist until Aquarian Age knowledge renders them obsolete and a new scientific religion emerges.
In the age science religious truths will be built on evidence-based facts.
Breaking free from Pisces and its misguided beliefs, fearful superstitions and zealous convictions won’t be easy. You can start by developing a questioning attitude and doing your own thinking.
The 307-year religious (Jupiter) section of the Aquarian Age starts around 3416.
Jupiter’s Aquarian Age knowledge religion
Religion employs non-physical means to acquire on Earth more ample satisfaction for the drive for nutrition (embracing all means of survival), the drive for reproduction (embracing mental creation as well as physical progeny), and the drive for significance (embracing the various means of expression).
Its aim, whether recognized or not, is to afford optimum living for those who adhere to it.
In the Age of Aquarius education will play a dominant role. Individuals will have trained intelligence, free inquiry, a critical temper and a clear-headed world outlook.
Education must provide three sorts of equipment in life. There must be specialized skills, specialized knowledge of many sorts and a perspective or unifying frame through which the details become a systematic whole.
The skills needed are those of work and play habits.
The specialized knowledge will provide technical and cultural training. It will help individuals to understand their place in the natural world, visualize their place in the human struggle and to see the value of their work in relation to what others are doing.
But the educated person must have a unifying or integrating frame to ensure that the details shall be organized into a life with unity and direction. This additional, unifying factor is religion.
Such a religion serves a dual purpose. It gives an intellectual perspective, or philosophy, that enables an understanding of the world and one’s self and it gives emotional devotion by which all that one is, thinks, and does is vitalized and directed.
Individuals so educated will use their energies in the direction best suited for them, will have a general idea or their relationship to society as a whole, and will drive forward intent on contributing their utmost to universal welfare.
How religious practices become established: Elbert Benjamine
‘As soon as a group has formulated certain standards of morals, by which it governs its relations, it immediately convinces itself, through its religious teachers, that God has decreed them.
Whatever doctrines become established, whether torturing heretics, making slaves of other human beings, eating flesh in religious rituals, protecting a king who has oppressed his people, not working on Sunday, not eating certain things, taking a bath at prescribed times, not shaving your beard, not allowing women to work or get an education and what not soon become taught as divinely decreed institutions.
Furthermore, as soon as some practice is believed to be commanded by divine law, its believers inevitably become convinced that the strict observance of the practice leads to reward, either in this life or in a future one, and that not observing the practice is sure, sooner or later, to be followed by punishment.’
