His chart’s astrodyne report

Jupiter (his religious urge) and Mercury (his intellectual urge and desire to talk) dominate. They have an I will (Leo) attitude) and influence his housing, home-life and relations with his father (house 4).

Jupiter and house 5 (stage and entertainment) are harmonious; and Mercury, Leo, Scorpio and houses 4 and 6 (work and sickness) are high in discord.

Jupiter, ascendant, Mercury, Midheaven, Sun, Neptune and Mars have above average power.

His intellectual-Mercury, aggressive-Mars, significance-Sun and utopian-Neptune thought-cells are discordant and inclined to attract mishap, misfortune and difficult, damaging events. Unless corrected their discord continues to attract toxic memories in line with their original conditioning.

His high-harmony religious (Jupiter) thought-cells are working to attract sponsors, patronage and wealth; but his high discord intellectual (Mercury) thought-cell activity (Mercury is square Mars – rash impulsivity and ADHD) inclines towards habitual thinking that is destructive and decision making that is reckless.

Mercury and Sun are trine (luck) Saturn the cusp ruler of house 9 (podcasting) in house 12 (disappointment and secret enmity); and square (obstacle) Mars (strife, anger and haste) in house 6 (work and work associates).

Venus and Saturn are retrograde indicating that his social urge (Venus) and Safety urge (Saturn) are somewhat repressed. Venus turned direct in in 2007 when he was 40 (and he married in 2009).

Jupiter is conjunction Sun in the second decanate of Leo. Centaurus denotes courage, conviction and the natural ability to detect and recognize the faults and flaws in the world’s political (Sun) and religious (Jupiter) systems. And he has the power to convince others of these faults, gain followers and set the wheels of social change and reformation in motion. But he has to get his facts right and only think truth. Major problems will arise if he makes misleading claims and disseminates false ideas (and with Sun square Neptune he’s prone to spread false narratives and unfounded conspiracy theories.)

Mercury is in the first decanate of Leo. Crater pours fire upon the Earth and denotes rulership and the capacity to exercise control over others. And he’s very inclined to swing to extremes: In one instance pleasure – hedonism, sensualism, self-indulgence and dissipation and in the other asceticism – self-denial, abstinacy, celibacy and reclusiveness.

Moon, his weakest planet, is in the third decanate of Libra. Lupus indicates he has a brilliant mind but if he uses his mental cleverness to unfair advantage, or to live a double life and pull the wool over the eyes of his listening audience mishap and personal tragedy will result in expiation.

Ascendant is in the third decanate of Taurus. Auriga denotes mastership and a capacity to triumph over the physical and other limitations imposed by his environment. By getting better at what he does he’ll improve his skill level and attain a higher round of spiritual rewards.

His story

Joe Rogan is an American podcaster, UFC color commentator, comedian, actor, and former television presenter.

His parents Joe Rogan Sr., a former police officer and Susan Lembo divorced when he was around 5. He’s estranged from his father (house 4) who he has described as ‘psychotic’ – ‘a very violent, scary guy’. His early home life was drenched in violence and fear.

He moved to San Francisco with his mother and after his mother remarried eventually settled in Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts.

Joe played baseball (house 5) and began practicing martial arts (Mars) in his early teens He quickly excelled winning four Massachusetts state Tae Kwon Do championships. At age 19, he became the US Open Tae Kwon Do grand champion (Sun-Mars).

He graduated from Newton Upper South High School in 1985 and enrolled at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He dropped out after a few years when his friends persuaded him to try a stand-up comedy set.

He began his career in comedy in August 1988 and in 1990 moved to New York City.

In 1994 he relocated to Los Angeles, signed an exclusive developmental deal with Disney, and appeared as an actor on several television shows including ‘Hardball’ and ‘NewsRadio.’

In 1997, he started working for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (Mars-house 5) and has been a UFC commentator and correspondent for more than 28 years.

In 2000 he released his first comedy special, "I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday ...,".

National success came in 2001 when he debuted as host of the NBC reality show Fear Factor (Saturn), in which contestants attempted to complete three extreme stunts for a $50,000 grand prize. He helmed the program for its initial six-season run through 2006 and returned for a rebooted seventh season that ran from late 2011 to 2012.

In 2009, Rogan launched his podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ which by 2015 was one of the world’s most popular, regularly receiving millions of views per episode.

Since December 2020, the podcast has been exclusively available on Spotify, with highlights uploaded onto YouTube.

His show has topped the Spotify streaming list for five straight years and his unfiltered interviews and commentary on divisive political topics have made the podcast a controversy (Mercury) magnet in recent years.

In October 2024 his interview with Donald Trump drew more than 38 million (mostly conservative) views on YouTube within three days (which meant over 300 million people didn’t bother listening.)

As of February 2025, he has made more than 2,200 podcast episodes.

His wealth as of August 2024, is estimated by Celebrity Net Worth at around $200 million largely due to his two lucrative podcast contracts with Spotify.

He married Jessica Ditzel in 2009 and they have three children Kayja (his step-daughter), Lola, and Rosy.

Rogan regularly courts controversy (Mercury opposition Midheaven is his worst aspect) and his racial slurs and crude, vulgar humour (Mars) are streaming from his animal soul and with a very inflated sense of self-importance (Sun is square Neptune) he doesn’t apply filters which provides insight into his character’s dominant vibratory rate and the type of listener he’s inclined to attract.

Like many other accidental influencers in the Age of Lower-Pluto the Joe Rogan experience: The official podcast of comedian Joe Rogan won’t change the world for the better.
